This was my absolute favorite shot of all time for quite a while despite the fact that it is of a creature I do not particularly care for. It's now in the top ten, but I'm hard pressed to give it a specific number. The reason that I love this shot so much is because it was actually trhee separate exposures shot handheld which were combined/processed using Dynamic-Photo HDR (the free trial version). I shot the three exposures using my Canon 40D and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM lens. I used the aperture priority setting, auto bracketing and the highest shooting speed to capture three almost identical images aside from the three different exposure values. I was able to perfectly align the wasp and cattail that he was sitting on...some of the background elements did not match up precisely, but I notice no ill effect from it because of the blurred background.
